Damsel Fish
Damsel Fish are a small, hardy and somewhat aggressive type of saltwater fish. For their size they are extremely feisty and rarely back down from larger tank mates. They are quite small and average around 2 inches in size. They are the perfect fish for a new aquarium as they are one of the few fish that can survive the initial cycling process. They can be kept in groups, but get along better with the same species of Damsel Fish.

Bottom line is that these little fish are tough. I have seen Damsel Fish often withstand conditions that would kill other marine species, that makes them great fish for beginners.
